To me an amazing development – IBM is allowing 500 software patents to be be freely used by open source developers.

IBM has invested a lot into Linux – not entirely altruistically, of course. But this, to me, is a wonderful trend – letting ideas freely exist in the world for us all to benefit.

A hurrah! for IBM….
